This product from the Membrane line addresses one of the most important and specialized treatment areas – the eyes. Many artists don’t understand how to treat the eyes, because they are mucous membranes, not just another area of skin. With the risk of clogged tear ducts from synthetic products and of infection or even corneal burns from concentrated essential oils, using a natural formula specifically designed for the eyes’ delicate tissue is integral to achieving quick and complication-free healing. This light, breathable barrier aids after micro-pigmentation procedures.

 All ingredients have been known too and selected based on their benefit to the unique needs of the eyes, such as chamomile, plantain, propolis and more. Don’t risk corneal abrasions or eye infections by using products which have been known to be comedogenic,  clog tear ducts, breed bacteria and burn/irritate delicate eye tissue.  It's our responsibility to provide our clients with the best and this formula is made for eyes. 

Directions: EyeAid is suitable for all skin types, in order to support and hydrate. It should be applied 5-6 hours post-procedure, micropigmentation areas need to close naturally during the preceding period. Gel eye drops can be used during the 6 hours immediately post-procedure. Afterwards, place a small (grain of rice sized) amount on a cotton swab or microbrush and apply gently to the eye lid area post orbital procedures, such as micropigmentation, micro-needling, plasma lift or simply for orbital dermatitis of any kind. Can be used for 21-28 days. 

NOTE: One button jar is for two applications post micropigmentation, initial procedure and 30-90 day follow-up.

Every ingredient we use is beneficial, here are a few:

Calendula flowers are known to have anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties useful in healing wounds.  It is known to soothe eczema, and relieve diaper rash.  It's also used as an antiseptic.

Sea Buckthorn

Sea Buckthorn is rich in Vitamin E which deeply hydrates and plumps, helping the skin to maintain optimum moisture. Its host of vitamins and carotenoids also makes Sea Buckthorn Oil a protective and preventative ingredient.

Sunflower oil

Sunflower oil is an emollient and doesn't clog pores, which makes it great for locking in moisture to relieve dry skin. Vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and K, help protect skin from UV damage which can cause premature aging, scars, fine lines and wrinkles. It's also been know to heal wounds faster.

An EyeAid button jar goes an incredibly long way and I have clients who use what remains after their procedure to treat their lashes after lash lift and tint, as well as between lash extension applications---so often we forget to tend to our eyelashes! As a breathable barrier I find that EyeAid is particularly effective for clients who are in and out of cold and warm environments...for example in colder climates, going and in and out of doors, but even in warmer ones when you go from a warm outside to an air conditioned inside.  These temperature changes affect the skin and eyes will often tear up.  I am always concerned that too much tearing after a treatment before the full healing is complete may impact retention.  Therefore, my aftercare always involves having clients cleanse their eyeliner area and very lightly apply EyeAid---more often if they are outdoors a lot.  EyeAid also helps with itching which is a necessary part of healing but I don't want my clients impulsively rubbing their eyes. EyeAid in your eyeliner after care kit with some microbrushes (I avoid cotton in case any strands stick to the area or get in the eye) and careful instructions for use is my standard for take home.
